Lions Gate Revives ‘Hunger Games’ Franchise with New Film

Bloomberg: Lions Gate plans to adapt the new “Hunger Games” book into a film, reviving a movie series that generated $3 billion in box-office sales and made the independent studio a takeover target. The picture will be based on the book “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.”
