Google to Pay Some Publishers for News; Other Dubious

Reuters: Google has taken a step towards resolving its longtime spat with publishers, saying it will pay some media groups in Australia, Brazil and Germany for high-quality content and expects to do more deals. But other media groups are skeptical: “Not too much, but not peanuts either.”
