Mansion Global: When Vice co-founder Shane Smith first moved from New York City to Los Angeles, he and his wife, Tamyka, had visions of 1930s Hollywood grandeur. They ended up having it in spades in their Santa Monica compound, which is hitting the market Tuesday for $50 million. “We had a vision of a Chateau Marmont-style escape with the dual ability to throw lavish parties and feel homey and secluded at the same time,” said Smith. “A sort of mini-resort with the best poolside living in LA and a vista from every window.”
