Wall Street Journal: Amazon held a test briefly this fall using newspaper carriers to make package deliveries along their routes. The experiment, which enlisted Tribune Publishing trucks in Chicago, lasted just a week or two. For Tribune, which publishes the Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Times newspapers, tax issues related to its newspaper couriers was an apparent roadblock to continuing the package delivery test.
