Crain’s Chicago Business: RedEye managing editor Kristin Samuelson is exiting her post, continuing a save of turnover at the Chicago Tribune commuter tabloid. RedEye was launched in 2002 to keep the attention of 20-somethings, especially those riding the city’s trains and buses. Over the past year its staff has shrunk with a number of departures. Samuelson, 32, said in a Facebook posting that she’s leaving after 19 months in the role to take a job at Northwestern University in the college’s media relationships department, working with former Tribune colleagues.
