New York Times: Time Inc., on the verge of leaving its Midtown Manhattan headquarters after 55 years, has donated its archive to the New-York Historical Society. The archive includes a 1937 Oscar; a globe of the Earth, wrapped in 1988 by Christo himself; a receipt for a three-month gift subscription to Time for the 15-year-old John F. Kennedy; and Life’s carbon copy of an ad hoc contract signed Nov. 23, 1963, by Abraham Zapruder granting the magazine worldwide print rights “to my original 8 mm color film which shows the shooting of President Kennedy in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.”
