Wall Street Journal: For marketers and content creators distributing videos on Facebook, the goal is to produce “thumb-stoppers” — videos with images so compelling that users will stop scrolling through their news feeds on their phones, even when there’s no sound. It turns out, few things stop thumbs quite like images of cupcakes and brownies. Indeed, if there’s a killer content category in these still early days of Facebook’s video platform, it’s food videos, say publishers and content creators.
