New York Daily News Offers Buyouts to Photographers

New York Post: The Daily News, which in an earlier incarnation used to call itself “New York’s Picture Newspaper,” may soon be without any full-time photographers. About a dozen remaining staff photographers have been offered buyout packages in the latest dizzying round of downsizings at the troubled tabloid, sources said. At least 30 editorial staffers were cut loose in September, only weeks after owner Mort Zuckerman failed to find a buyer.
