Philadelphia Business Journal: Starting Thursday, Comcast will take listening to TV to the next level. The media giant will add a video description component to its broadcast of “The Wiz Live!” for its blind customers. During pauses in dialogue, blind viewers will be able to hear description of other show elements, including costume design, facial expressions and stage direction. It will be the first live entertainment broadcast in U.S history with such a service.
