Bloomberg: Viacom executive chairman Sumner Redstone will miss the company’s annual meeting for the first time in years. The 91-year-old billionaire has attended the New York-based media company’s shareholder events in the past, even as questions arose about his health. Redstone has sounded increasingly frail on quarterly earnings conference calls, where he typically would introduce CEO Philippe Dauman. A Viacom spokesman who confirmed reports that Redstone will miss the March 16 meeting in Miami said the chairman is doing well.
