Disney Stockholder George Lucas Sorry for ‘Slavers’

Forbes: “Star Wars” creator George Lucas had his reasons for apologizing for comparing Disney to “white slavers.” Much has been made of Lucas’s seeming ingratitude, given that Disney gave Lucas a package that was worth more than $4 billion in exchange for Lucasfilm, and the rights to the “Star Wars” properties. Despite his seeming ambivalence about Disney, Lucas continues to be a major stockholder.
