DreamWorks to Play Role in Global Push by Netflix

MarketWatch: Netflix is expanding its children’s content rights with DreamWorks Animation as the streaming giant focuses on further expanding its global presence. The new deal will extend the rights, and second-window rights, of original series across Netflix’s global markets, outside of China. Netflix will launch a reimagining of the 1980s cartoon “Voltron” from DreamWorks, as well as a new series “Trollhunters.”
