Fox Faces New TV Rival in Return of Elisabeth Murdoch

Financial Times: Elisabeth Murdoch is set for a return to the television industry — five years after selling her production company, Shine, for £415 million. Murdoch has held talks with Jane Featherstone, one of Shine’s former top creatives, about investing in her new company making TV drama. The move puts Murdoch into direct competition with Endemol Shine, which is part-owned by 21st Century Fox, the media group run by her father, Rupert Murdoch, and her brothers, James and Lachlan.
