Chernin Taps Disney Veteran Tonia Davis as VP of Film

Hollywood Reporter: Tonia Davis, who most recently served as executive director, production at Disney, is joining Chernin Entertainment as VP of film. Davis will leverage her experience on large-scale feature film production to develop projects at Chernin, reporting to president of film Jenno Topping. At Walt Disney Pictures, Davis worked on the studio’s live-action slate, including “Oz: The Great and Powerful,” “Million Dollar Arm” and the upcoming feature films “Tomorrowland,” “Jungle Book” and “Beauty and the Beast.”
