Wall Street Journal: The publisher of the Orange County Register will put its assets on the block after receiving a bankruptcy judge’s signoff on the auction rules. Freedom Communications will hold an auction March 16 for its assets, according to the procedures approved by a bankruptcy judge in Santa Ana, Calif. The company hasn’t named a lead bidder for the auction yet but hopes to do so soon.
