ESPN Expat Bill Simmons Names New Website ‘Ringer’

New York Times: The sports personality Bill Simmons’s much anticipated new website has a name: the Ringer. The website is expected to debut this year, either by the spring or early summer. The site will begin producing an email newsletter in mid-March. Simmons left ESPN and the website he founded, Grantland, last year under bitter circumstances. In the months since his departure, he has resurrected a podcast he once did for Grantland.
