Tribune Media Likely to Sell Assets Rather Than Company

Bloomberg: A lot of companies are interested in Tribune Media — just not in all of it. Tribune said last week it’s hired advisors to explore strategic options, including selling assets. While Tribune would prefer a single buyer for tax purposes, the company is expected to be more likely to sell itself in pieces. Meredith is said to be  interested in buying some of Tribune’s TV stations.
