Financial Times: Liberty Global wants to distribute ITV’s best programs across Europe, but sees the British broadcaster as too “pricey” to acquire outright. The U.S. cable group, backed by John Malone, has been linked with a possible bid for ITV — the U.K.’s biggest producer of TV shows including “The Voice” — since it took a stake last year. Liberty is currently ITV’s second largest shareholder. However, Liberty CFO Charlie Bracken said: “We’re not going to invest billions of dollars in content — that’s not our game.”
