CNN to Cut Jobs Amid Major Restructuring in Digital

Washington Post: CNN Digital is “embarking on a strategic restructuring,” according to a note from Andrew Morse, EVP of editorial, CNN U.S. and general manager of CNN Digital Worldwide. Upwards of 50 staffers at CNN Digital will see their jobs eliminated under the plan. Yet the outfit will add more than 200 jobs that will cut CNN Digital from its tether to a traditional website model and push it toward mobile.
