Amazon Prime Nabs US Rights to BBC’s ‘Doctor Who’

World Screen: Amazon has inked a multiyear content licensing agreement with BBC Worldwide that makes its Prime Video service the exclusive U.S. subscription streaming home for the modern incarnation of “Doctor Who.” Beginning March 27, Amazon Prime subscribers can access seasons one through eight of the BBC One hit, along with all the holiday specials.
