Facebook to Soon Offer Broadcast-Quality Live Video

Digiday: Facebook is said to have developed equipment that will allow for the broadcast of high-quality live videos. The social network reportedly plans to announce this capability during its annual F8 developers conference next month. This technology could prove to be especially fruitful in Facebook’s efforts to get more TV networks distributing video content on its platform. “It’s a very cool evolution of the technology.”
