CNBC: Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos gave Twitter followers a helpful heads up Monday: The 8th generation Kindle is almost ready. The details won’t be available until next week, according to Bezos’ tweet. But the “top-of-the-line” model will compare to the 7th-generation version, which features 4 GB of storage, a four-week battery life, and a 6-inch gray scale display designed to be easy to read.
