Disney No 2 Tom Staggs Won’t Be Leaving Empty-Handed

MarketWatch: Former Disney heir apparent Tom Staggs may be headed for the door, but he is not leaving empty-handed. Staggs’ $18.6 million compensation package made him one of Disney’s highest-paid employees after he was promoted to the role of COO in February 2015. Staggs’ base salary is just under $2 million, but he was awarded about $4.6 million in stock awards, $3.4 million in option awards, $8.6 million in other, non-equity-based bonuses, and $49,490 in all other compensation.
