Twitter Eyes Hollywood Heavyweights as Board Members

New York Post: Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and the board had aimed to snare high-profile Hollywood heavyweights to replace two outgoing members, Peter Chernin and Peter Currie. They turned to “Rain Man” producer Peter Guber, who was apparently vetted by the board. For reasons unknown, the talks stopped in their tracks. Similarly, Twitter reportedly also had talks with über TV creator Shonda Rhimes.  Again, the Twitter board struck out.
