Hearst’s New Esquire Editor Lands Heavyweight Writers

New York Post: New Esquire editor Jay Fielden has landed a slate of heavyweight writers for the magazine. Insiders said that New Yorker theater critic John Lahr and New York Times literary critic Dwight Garner will both be filing for the monthly. Jay McInerney will also be returning to the magazine. Fielden — who replaced David Granger in March after an 19-year tenure as editor — is “involved in everything from commas to clothes.”
