L.A. Biz: The restructuring continues at Paramount, as the Hollywood studio has folded its microbudget genre division Insurge Pictures. The Viacom company will keep the label, though, for future low-budget genre titles. As a result, Insurge president Amy Powell will give up her film duties. She will continue to focus on television and digital, reporting to chairman and CEO Brady Grey for the former and vice chairman Rob Moore for the latter.
