Washington Post: Chip Smith, a veteran Democratic strategist and CEO of the lobby and public affairs firm Glover Park Group, will become the chief lobbyist at 21st Century Fox. Smith, a top adviser for Al Gore’s 2000 presidential campaign, will take over many of the duties of Michael Regan, the longtime lobbyist for 21st Century Fox and News Corp. who is slated to leave the company at the end of June. Smith’s title will be EVP of public affairs. He will report to executive chairman Lachlan Murdoch and CEO James Murdoch.
