Los Angeles Times: Ed Romano, vice chairman of Warner Bros., is retiring after 48 years at the company.  After his retirement at the end of June, the studio veteran will take on a consulting role for the company, acting as an executive advisor to Warner Bros. Entertainment CEO Kevin Tsujihara. Romano, 74, became vice chairman in December, 2014, after serving as executive vice president and chief financial officer since 1994, when Bob Daly was still the head of the studio. The company credited him with helping Tsujihara with the studio’s international expansion and digital transition.
