Reuters to Build Hub Outside London Amid Rising Costs

Financial Times: Reuters plans to build a new editorial operation in Nottingham, as the news organization becomes the latest major company to encourage staff to pack their bags to escape London’s spiraling cost of living. The new sub-editing operation is expected to be up and running by the end of this year. In an email to staff, European editor Richard Mably said the move would “give staff the chance to work outside expensive locations such as London, Singapore and New York.”
