Salon Media Replaces CEO with Veteran of NBC, Google

Politico: Salon CEO Cindy Jeffers is leaving the company. She is being replaced as CEO by veteran media exec Jordan Hoffner, who worked at NBC and Google before founding the investment firm TCP Advisors. The changes were announced to staff at a meeting Monday. Jeffers joined Salon as chief technology officer in May 2012 and was elevated to the CEO position a few weeks later, after the company’s previous CEO — founder David Talbot — stepped down as CEO and editor in chief.
