Penske Media Promotes EVP to Chief Operating Officer

Variety: Penske Media has appointed George Grobar as chief operating officer. Grobar previously served as EVP for the company. He will be responsible for working with company leaders to develop growth plans and implement operations and financial plans across its portfolio of brands including Variety, WWD, Footwear News, Deadline, Indiewire, TVLine, Hollywood Life, Gold Derby, and Variety Latino. “George is an accomplished executive with more than 25 years of financial and operational leadership experience,” said CEO Jay Penske.
