AAP: News Corp. Australia will close seven of its community newspapers under the Leader banner by July 1. The company says it doesn’t know how many jobs will be cut when the Berwick, Brimbank, Free Press, Hobsons Bay, Melbourne, Melton and Wyndham newspapers go because it may be able to redeploy some workers.
