Sports Illustrated: The National Football League had its Twitter account hacked on Tuesday. At 12:36 p.m. ET, the NFL’s official, verified account tweeted that commissioner Roger Goodell had died at the age of 57. Five minutes, and thousands of retweets later, the tweet was erased. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was able to confirm that Goodell did not pass away shortly before the tweet was taken down. But, at 12:44 p.m. ET, the hacker was back with another tweet.
