Time Warner’s HBO Admits Big-Budget Failure on ‘Vinyl’

Investopedia: Time Warner’s HBO needs a new hit. While it still has “Game of Thrones,” one of the most-popular shows airing on any channel, HBO has struggled to create big hits lately. “Vinyl,” which has Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese among its creators, was supposed to be that next must-watch show. Unfortunately, the show never lived up to its promise, and even though a season two had been announced, it has been cancelled.
