Tribune Nears Deal to Sell Off Chicago’s Tribune Tower

Chicago Tribune: A front-runner has emerged in the bid to buy and transform Tribune Tower into a mixed-use development, and sources say a deal could be close at hand. Los Angeles-based developer CIM Group has offered between $240 million and $260 million to acquire the landmark building and adjacent property from Tribune Media.
