News Corp’s Sun Tabloid ‘Wot Swung It’ in Brexit Vote

The Sun: The U.K.’s Sun had the strongest influence on people voting for Leave, according to a poll by the Democracy Institute. The poll said 30 percent of respondents were most motivated by the News Corp. newspaper’s Brexit campaign. “And the Sun’s BeLEAVE in Britain front page and Independence Day plea helped give millions of readers the courage to cut free from bossy Brussels.”
