Media Mess: Viacom is Lesson for Rivals at Fox, Disney

Financial Times: Media companies would do well to look at the Viacom mess and think about their own plans. Succession is a challenge for all companies but, at media groups in particular, charismatic founders, CEOs or family owners tend to stick around longer than most. Rupert Murdoch recently turned 85 and continues to call the shots at News Corp. and 21st Century Fox. Disney has yet to find a successor to Bob Iger.
