IBT’s Newsweek Lays Off Half Dozen Staffers Amid Redo

Politico: Newsweek has been hit with around a half dozen layoffs one day after more than 30 people were laid off at its sister publication, the International Business Times. “Newsweek staffers affected by the restructuring have been notified,” the magazine’s managing editor, Ken Li, told staff in a brief memo sent just before noon Friday. “I want to thank them for their contribution in making Newsweek a beacon for hardcore journalism.”
