Int’l Business Times to Staff Up in India After US Layoffs

Politico: The International Business Times is considering doubling the size of its team in Bangalore, following mass layoffs in its New York office. IBT Media’s Bangalore office houses roughly 40 journalists who work for the Indian, U.K. and U.S. editions. About a dozen of the journalists in Bangalore work for the U.S. edition. Talks are said to have been held within IBT Media about doubling the size of that team.
