Altice Sells Majority Stake in Newsday to Dolan Family

Politico: Two weeks after the Dolan family completed the $17.7 billion sale of Cablevision to European telecom giant Altice, the family is buying back one of Cablevision’s flagship news properties. Pat Dolan, president of Long Island-based News 12 Networks, has acquired 75 percent of Newsday Media Group, which controls Newsday, amNewYork, and other properties.
