IBT Plans Newsweek Launch in India After US Layoffs

Politico: Newsweek is planning to launch an edition in India. News of the new edition comes as Newsweek parent company IBT Media looks to expand its Indian operations following dozens of layoffs at its main newsroom in New York. The Indian edition of Newsweek will be owned by an Indian company named Newsweek Media Private Limited.
