Hearst Buys 24 Local Community Newspapers in Houston

Houston Chronicle: The Houston Chronicle’s parent company has purchased two dozen community newspapers across the Houston metro area, extending its reach deeper into the suburbs. New York-based Hearst announced that it has acquired Houston Community Newspapers & Media Group from 1013 Star Communications.
