Gawker’s Denton to ‘Move On’ from News, Gossip Business

Recode: Gawker founder Nick Denton sent a note to his staff: “I am proud of what we have achieved at Gawker Media. … I will move on to other projects, working to make the web a forum for the open exchange of ideas and information, but out of the news and gossip business.”
