Time Inc Taps Battista as President, CEO to Replace Ripp

New York Post: After three years of turmoil, Joe Ripp is out as chief executive of Time Inc. and will be replaced by Rich Battista, who will become president and CEO of the No. 1 magazine publisher. Battista joined the company a year ago as an EVP. Ripp will step down as CEO but continue as executive chairman. The move is expected to accelerate Time Inc.’s push to digital.
