CBS, Viacom: Redstone Calls for Companies to Re-Merge

Reuters: Sumner Redstone’s National Amusements is preparing to call on CBS and Viacom to explore a merger. National Amusements is the controlling shareholder of both media companies, which separated from each other 10 years ago. A merger would give Viacom a seasoned media exec at the helm in CBS CEO Les Moonves.
