New York Post: While the bidding for Mort Zuckerman’s money-bleeding Daily News remains tepid, sources say there are at least four in the running as it enters the second round. “Jimmy Finkelstein is definitely in,” said one source close to the entrepreneur. His name had surfaced early on, but it was said he was in search of another, deeper-pocketed partner to join him. Finkelstein currently owns The Hill, the Washington, D.C., daily aimed at Beltway insiders.
