Sony Names Brother of Former Corporate Chief as Music CEO

New York Post: The new Sony Music CEO is Rob Stringer, brother of former Sony Corp America chief Howard Stringer. The move, announced by Sony on Tuesday, sees current chief Doug Morris step into a chairman role come April 2017. Stringer is currently chief of Sony-owned Columbia, one of the most successful record labels, which counts acts such as Adele and Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan.
