Twitter Fires Virtual-Reality Exec Over Online Comments

TechCrunch: Greg Gopman claims he was fired by Twitter less than a day after news broke that the company had hired him to start working on virtual reality efforts. Gopman was embroiled in a 2013 scandal over offensive remarks he made about the homeless and the subsequent fallout. On Facebook, Gopman wrote: “Anddd I’m fired. Thanks TechCrunch.”
