Viacom May Need to Sell Logo, TV Land, CMT or Even VH1

TheStreet: Viacom operates 24 cable TV networks, yet just six of them account for nearly 85% of its operating income. Now that the media giant is no longer hindered by speculation about whether it will be acquired by CBS, new CEO Bob Bakish must decide whether Viacom’s network portfolio should remain as is or, more likely, to close or combine many of them.
