New York Times to Adapt Travel Column Into TV Show

Capital New York: The New York Times is adapting one of its most popular columns for the small screen. The 30-minute show will air on the Travel Channel, and will have the same name as the travel column: “36 Hours.” Six episodes of the show are scheduled for production, according to a release from the channel and the newspaper. “Top Chef” alum Kristen Kish and former soccer player-turned TV analyst Kyle Martino will co-host the show.
